This watercolour artwork shows the moment when a Star Ferry arrives at Hong Kong Central Pier and the repositioning propellers start churning the harbour water as it docks. There has been some questions about the future of this classic ferry service and Hong Kong icon. I know that it is dear to many Hong Konger’s hearts and I sincerely hope that it continues for a long time. It will be interesting to see how new developments at the ferry Piers help to improve the company’s fortunes.
