Watercolour location sketch at a former colonial-era police barracks in the middle of the city that has been renovated into a center for heritage & arts. This renovated site sits right in the heart of central HK and is surrounded by the high-rise towers of the Central business district. I was lucky enough to find seating that allowed me to face North toward the more iconic-looking Police Headquarters Block. It was interesting to see that an outdoor cinema was set up in front of the building where people could sit on deck chairs & watch images projected onto the building opposite.
