Biro & Watercolour on-site sketch of my view of ‘Western Market’, as seen from the window ledge I was sitting on outside a Bakery.
This is one of the oldest structures in Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong. The current structure, built in 1906, is the oldest surviving market building in the city.
Spent a few hours sketching this, and had a few people come up to me and comment (mostly good). I was expecting to me told to move along by some authorities at some point but lucky for me I was left in peace.
