Watercolour sketch showing an improbably thin street store selling electrical accessories on Matheson Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. I’ve often passed this shop while exploring the neighborhood near ‘Times Square’ & have always been fascinated by how this extremely narrow outlet seems to occupy a slice of pavement & grow out of a wall. This is a testament to both the extremely high rents in the city & the industrious nature of local merchants who can utilize the smallest of spaces.
