Watercolour Painting of the TST Clocktower - Situated near the Star Ferry Pier, the official name of this 44 metres tall Hong Kong landmark & declared monument is the ‘Former Kowloon-Canton Railway Clock Tower’. Originally constructed in 1915, it is the only surviving structure of the Kowloon–Canton Railway terminus in Tsim Sha Tsui which was demolished in 1975. After that, the clock bell was repeatly moved between sites before finally being restored inside the tower in 2010. Last December (2021), the clock’s chimes resumed operation & it now rings hourly from 8am until midnight being digitally synchronised with the the Hong Kong Observatory. While strolling outside the cultural centre at sunset, I was attracted by the still mirror like waters of the fountain gardens
